Fourth Sunday of

We Gather as the Body of Christ

WELCOME, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AND

FUNNY STORY         with Pastor Bob

CENTERING WORDS        (Acts 4, 1 John 3)

When we love with our lives, we become reflections of God for all to see.

CALL TO WORSHIP

Debbie Young - Liturgist

In scripture, the metaphor of God as shepherd is used many times. But in our world, where our only experience with sheep might be seeing them in a field while we are out for a drive in the country, it might be hard for us to grasp what this means.

As we worship this day, allow God, our Shepherd, to lead you…to guide you…and to protect you. Let us worship God together!

OPENING PRAYER (unison)

Our Good Shepherd, you have called us your own. We come today, celebrating your love for us. We come today, thanking you for loving us to the point of laying down your life for us. Shepherding Spirit, move through us, connect us to our identity as ones belonging to you with renewed passion for you and your work. Amen.

Be a reflection of the Good Shepherd and in doing so you shine God’s light into the world!
