CENTERING WORDS

(James 1)

Every good and perfect gift comes from above. Look to God, the creator of the heavenly lights, for a harvest of Godly living. Religion that is pure of heart and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for the orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

CALL TO WORSHIP  (James 1 & Psalm 24)

Debbie Young - Liturgist

As we gather for worship this morning, we are reminded that every good gift comes from God. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? Only those who hands, and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their Savior. Come, let us worship and praise God together!

BENEDICTION (James 1: 22)    Pastor Bob

Be doers of the word, and not merely hearers. Allow the word of God to fill you and to guide and direct your words, your choices and even your thoughts.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus, the love of God, and the hopeful encouragement of the Holy Spirit be with you.

Depart in Peace...Shalom.
