CENTERING WORDS    (Exodus 3)

Pastor Bob

God speaks from burning bushes and souls on fire. May God grant us eyes to see and ears to hear, as we worship this day.

CALL TO WORSHIP    Sharon Stewart

Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone wants to become my follower, they must deny themselves, take up their cross and follow me.” What does this mean? For you? For me? For those of us who want to follow Jesus, in 2023 and in the future, here at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. What does it mean to deny ourselves? What does it mean to take up our cross? This morning in worship we will spend time with these questions and others, as we offer our intention to God – to follow Jesus with all our hearts, all our minds and with all our strength. Let us worship God together.
