We Gather as the Body of Christ
WELCOME AND Funny Story
CALL TO WORSHIP
How is your heart today? …Weary?... Full?... Overburdened?... What is it that you need from God? We come to worship to remember that there is so much more than our limited perspective suggests. We come to worship to be reminded that God is so much bigger than anything we could imagine. God make known to us the ways of life, and can make our hearts full of gladness, simply to be in the presence of the one who created us and who understands all our struggles and all our joys. Let us worship God together.
HYMN: Amazing Grace

Make known to us, your ways, O Lord. Your life-giving ways. Make our hearts full of gladness to be in your presence. Send your Holy Spirit to be with us and among us, as we worship you this day. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

#140 UMC HYMNAL vs 1 & 3
Jesus invited Thomas to touch the nail marks in his hands, meeting Thomas exactly where he needed to be met. Jesus invites our honest faith, and that can, and often does, include some doubt. May you hear and respond to Jesus’ invitation to you, to honestly express your faith and your doubt. And may you sense Jesus meeting you, at the point of your need. And may the love of God – Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer – be with you. Amen!
Shalom to You #666 UMC Hymnal
