CALL TO WORSHIP
“Can anything good come from Nazareth?” How do you think that sentence might have been asked? With sarcasm? With surprise? With hope?
We don’t know how Nathaniel said these words to Phillip. But we do know that he said them. And that Jesus’ background as one from Nazareth led others to question whether his background would allow him to be the good teacher and leader, he was showing himself to be.
“Can anything good come from Nazareth?” The answer is a definitive Yes! Let us worship God together!

You are with us, O Lord, calling to each one of us. Calling us by name. Reminding us that we are not alone. As we worship you this day, allow us to bask in the glory of your presence and feel the comfort of your companionship and the deep rest that only you can offer. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
