Holy One, be our light in the darkness. When we can’t make out the path ahead, guide us and direct us. When we are scared or overwhelmed, reassure us, and remind us not to be afraid. When we can’t turn our head or our attention toward you and your glimmer of light; lift our gaze, turn us, reorient us in the directions that bring life and hope and possibility. Be our light in the darkness, in this time of worship, and always. Amen.
