CALL TO WORSHIP
In Scripture, over and over again, we are invited to turn to God. The invitation comes in two parts: turning to God and turning away from that which is not of God. As we worship this day, what do you need to turn away from?
What do you need in order to turn more fully toward God and toward being the person God desires you to be?
Let’s take those questions into our worship and be open to what God might want for us to hear this day. Let us worship God together!

We turn toward you, O Lord, with our intention. We want to know you more fully and experience your love completely. Work within our hearts and our spirits, so that the turning is gentle and faithful, by the power of your Holy Spirit. Amen.

BLESSING OF THE OFFERING (unison)
Lord, accept these gifts, given from the heart and from our desire to please you with the choices we make and the priorities we set in all areas of life, including our finances. May these tithes and offerings make a difference in our world, where they will feed the hungry, provide clothing and shelter for those without, and working for justice for all people. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

BENEDICTION
This week, I encourage you to listen for the voice of God, as it might come to you, through other people with whom you interact – at work, at home, or out in the community. Be attentive and listen…listen for God’s word and how it can make a difference in your life.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the nurturing presence of the Holy Spirit be with you always. Amen.
DEPART IN PEACE...Shalom!
