CALL TO WORSHIP

Debbie Young - Liturgist

In the Christian liturgical year, today is Trinity Sunday. When you think of a triangle you know there are three corners to the triangle. There are three ways of thinking about God: God the Creator, God the Redeemer, and God the Sustainer. But the triangle is one shape, not three different shapes. So, God is one—one God, three persons. Let us worship God together—Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer: the blessed trinity.

OPENING PRAYER (unison)

Debbie Young - Liturgist

We cry out to you in praise, O Lord. Holy is your name! We lift our hearts and join our voices in song, in prayer, in listening … for you and what you desire for us to hear in this time of worship. Send your Holy Spirit to be with us and among us in this hour, which we have set aside for you. Amen.
