FUNNY STORY         Pastor Bob

CENTERING WORDS

(Psalm 16)  Pastor Bob

In the presence of God, we find fullness of joy. May this time of worship be full of joy, surprises, healing, and love.

CALL TO WORSHIP  (1 Samuel 1, 2)

Debbie Young - Liturgist

Scripture talks about the pouring out of one’s soul to God. What would that look like if you poured out your soul to God? Would you be able to share with God all of your concerns … your frustrations … your doubts…? Would you be able to tell God about all of your dreams … your hopes … your wonderings…? As we come together in worship, we acknowledge that our God is a God who desires that we share from our depths… Let us worship God together!

Gracious God, help us to hold fast to our faith … without wavering. Hold fast to us, to each of us, during this time of worship, that we might sense your presence, and be reminded of your promise. For you are faithful. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

BENEDICTION

(Mark 13 and Hebrews 10)     Pastor Bob

The end is yet to come. God is not finished with us. Not with you. Not with me. Not with our church. Not with our denomination. And not with the church universal. The end is yet to come. As you live into an unknown future, cling to the promises of God. Hold fast to the one who is faithful and who will never leave you alone. Go in peace, to love and serve the Lord.

Depart in Peace,  Shalom.
